Sastra Pratibha Matsaram (SPM) is a unique science talent contest organised by Swadeshi Science Movement with the aim of popularizing the Indian contribution to science among students in Kerala. We are happy to note that 12th SPM, named as Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM),was a grand success where students from 22 states appeared in the National level Examination held during December 2012. The culmination event was the National Science Camp where six students from Kerala State bagged the prizes. Now, we are proud to announce the launch of 13th Sastra Pratibha Matsaram or Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan- 2013.

Vigyan Prasar is an autonomous organization under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India with the objective to act as resource-cum-facility centre for Science &Technology Communication. Vijnana Bharati is a national organization striving for promotion, communication and popularization of science in the country and Swadeshi Science Movement is its Kerala chapter. Vigyan Prasar and Vijnana Bharati have joined hands to inculcate passion for science amongst the young brains. And this year, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is also supporting the cause.
