The social networks are functional for the people or are only for those who create them?

In most of the networks I find silence and does
not calls for return :
fragmentation of networks generates silence.
So what service we give to the people?

In the beginning there were only a few networks so members used to devote their time to them only. As Ning is free everybody started creating networks and now there are thousands of
networks. People are very busy & can't visit all the networks leave
alone participate in the activities & discussions daily. So only the
networks that were started in the beginning & have large number of
members have some activity. Unable to run networks in such
circumstances, some people are deleting them too. These days people who
cannot have their own websites are creating networks for personal use
too & inviting their friends to join because if there is no activity
for a long period, Ning will delete them. Atleast members will add
photos & videos even if they don't participate in other activities.
Some network creators are conducting competetions to create interest in
members.
Having said that I also want to add people should have interest in what
goes on in the art world. They should be able to find out others ideas
& opinions by participating in the discussi0ns & should be able
to utilize whatever little time they have properly in learning things.
If they don't have interest, more networks will be unnecessary. But who
can stop the network creators from creating more networks? The Ning
policy itself is flawed. If you give free access, everybody will have a
go at it & the result will be substandard networks!
I try my best to do under these circumstances. There are a few who
dedicatedly participate in the activities here.
There will be others who are silent visitors who read whatever I add. I
feel even if a few handful of members & nonmembers who read what I
add, think and learn a little, my efforts will have have a positive end.

Dear reader and friend,
if you have your purpose was almost a mission, what specifics would rather tell and teach your visitors?

Well, your response intrigues me because, being an engineer, I come from the world of technology and mathematics, but my source did not give me almost no influence or inspiration in
artistic themes, making me think so little relationship between art and
science. However, I noticed that there is much more relationship between
art and culture, , because without culture is more difficult to make
art.

Please go the groups research, art collectors mind reader and art news that have been featured. The group research was created for this purpose only. Members read the articles in
this group & say they learn things from the articles. It depends on
the people who think what relates to what. Yes, if you see pictures of
art works, there are absolutely no pictures on science related themes
here. Because science is new to art & only a few people in the world
are working on the themes from science. My work based on science is new
too. When I first started my website it is first on the www on the
painting themes based on science. People who are working on science
based themes should have a thorough knowledge on science & artists
cannot have it & scientists usually will be too busy to do such art
works. So you will get very few works based on science. My work is based
mostly on life sciences - my subject. This network is created to bring
art & science together & to create awareness that these two can
be related & harmony could be brought between these two fields. If I
complicate things , people won' be able to understand fully what this
is all about. Even some of the discussions based on science in the forum
too are simple.
Some of the blogs that are featured are based on science related art
topics. A new network that tries to bring these two subjects cannot have
all pictures & topics based on them only. Slowly things are picking
up & you will see more on this in the future. I just made a
beginning.
