What is art?

Here is a poem inspired by my philosophy towards painting.
When you wake up in the morning
Be grateful for the sunlights
For good health and creative energy
Most of all for being a painter
No matter if you are great or small
No matter if you can sell or not
Because if you can paint
You are blessed with eyes to see all the wonders of the world
Think of those blind people and you can't find
Any reasons for their deprivations
You have no reason not to be grateful for being a painter.

Some artists may feel depressed because they can't sell their works, I should think that if they try to reconcile with life, they will be happy even if they can't sell, after all justice cannot be done in all corners of the world, everyone must try to see their own fair share in life.
