iPhone app & the art at Dallas Cowboys Stadium!

Despite the bad season that Dallas Cowboys fans would like to forget, the team has forged ahead, releasing a new, free, iPhone app, “The Art at Cowboys Stadium.”  Anyone who’s visited the $1.2 billion stadium has no doubt noticed the design and construction of Cowboys Stadium, including great works of art contained therein, overseen by Gene and Jerry Jones, owners of the Dallas Cowboys. The art, unique to Cowboys Stadium, grandly works in concert to enhance every fan's visit even if the team’s on-field performance is less than spectacular.

The art collection in the stadium reflects the Jones' personal vision, consisting of 21 original or commissioned works of art by established and emerging contemporary artists. United by boldness, vigor, and resolve, each piece is stunning in its own right, and as a collection, proves even more so.    

The new app, released recently, features a mobile tour, enabling visitors to the stadium and fans everywhere, the opportunity to explore the stadium’s art collection.  Throughout the tour, users will learn about the art from the Jones family, experts on the Cowboys Stadium Art Council, as well as the artists themselves. Further, one will be able to view photos and videos of the art from their genesis through to instillation.

iPhone/iPod Touch owners who are fans of the NFL, Dallas Cowboys, admirers of the stadium and/or lovers of fine art will want to catch this free app and see for themselves the beauty of the stadium’s interior beyond what is captured during games.
