Science and Arts exhibition shines light on UAE culture and heritage.

Over five thousand pupils, their teachers and parents joined together in a triangular effort to create a magnificent science and arts exhibition in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Themed on science and art, the Science-art , setup in more than 100 class rooms and corridors of the Model School in Abu Dhabi showcased a wide variety of exhibits covering science, culture, arts, literature, linguistics, history and commerce.

"Scienceart also coincides with the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Model School", said Principal Dr. Abdul Kader

The sections on environmental protection, renewable energy and sustainable development attracted the visitors. Students eloquently explained to them how we can live on this planet without depleting it. Using models made with their own hands, the students shed light on the techniques of bio gas production, solar energy and wind energy as well as other sources of future energy.

A stall on cancer and its various forms won continuous admiration from the visitors. As part of an awareness creation on the early detection of breast cancer , a student was seen cutting out and distributing tiny heart shaped cards on which it was written "Think Pink Live Green".

Live models of solar system, earth and the seasons jointly developed by students and teachers also won praise from the visitors.
