Each week we are going to study and draw or paint a real fossil or life-like replica, such as a Dinosaur, a Pterosaur, a fossil fish, or a trilobite.

While working on our art piece, we are listening and learning about the life of these weird and wonderful creatures.

Fossil specimens are donated by the National Dinosaur Museum.

Term 3 – Art and Science of the human body

The most fascinating object is our own body. We are learning interesting facts we never new, and exploring the beauty of the human body and its role in art history.

    Term 4 – Optical Illusions

Each week we are going to explore a different optical illusion, while also learning about electromagnetic waves, the eye, the role of the brain in vision, and the mixing and use of colours in art.
