It seems George Lucas is planning to digitally resurrect dead actors for new film. Using the latest in computer reanimation technology, stars such as Katharine Hepburn and Fred Astaire could very well be charming audiences in their new films! Actors from different eras would finally be

seen together. Movies are about creating stories that leave a lasting impression. If a modern tool allows filmmakers the ultimate power of digitally casting legendary actors of the past, it would truly make for an unforgattable cenematic experience.

Technology today has become an intrinsic part of movie making. Apart from giving filmmakers an unprecedented level of control over the pre- and post-production phases, it has made possible cinematography that was previously unimaginable. Blockbuster movies such as Spiderman, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter would have been impossible without   the use of computer -generated special effects.  The 1978 Bruce Lee movie, Game of Death, was produced by meshing together archive footage with newly shot scenes because of the actor's untimely death before completion of the film. The film till date remains a Bruce Lee classic.
