Comment by Zhenlian on April 2, 2009 at 5:39am: In my opinion, art is a good pastime, as long as I enjoy painting and enjoy uploading it onto the internet, I don't mind prejudices and curious and suspicions remarks on my paintings, because in China, there are still much prejudices and suspcious remarks for female artists, I think that this kind of attitude towards female artists is common in developping and under-developped countries, once I received very curious remarks from a woman from Maritius Island (There may be a spelling mistake), it seems that she has so much pity and symppathy for me just because I show my paintings on the internet, I have the impression that in her mind when a woman shows her paintings on the internet is not far from showing her soul and her body on the internet, very ridiculous mentality!
