During a woman's menstrual cycle, hormonal fluctuations primarily involving estrogen and progesterone cause noticeable "ups and downs" in the body, often leading to mood swings, physical discomfort, and energy level changes, with the most significant shifts happening around ovulation and in the lead-up to menstruation (luteal phase) when hormone levels drop significantly.
You can’t even imagine what a woman goes through during that period if you are a man!
You are in the midst of a picnic and suddenly you start bleeding. Heavy pain not only in your abdomen area but in your whole body. Still you have to pretend everything is fine so as not to spoil others’ moods.
You are in the examination hall writing your answers and all of a sudden you feel the vital fluid of your body coming out. You feel weak but you shouldn’t panic. Keeping your calm you have to still write and come out of it in flying colours!
You are batting on the pitch and the bowlers are trying to get you out, you feel cramps in your stomach. But still you have to keep your teams’ success in mind and get it going.
You are in the conference hall, presenting your best paper. Your body suddenly declares an emergency. There are only men all around you trying to tear you apart ( this is what happens during scientific research paper presentations). You have to fight, not one, but two battles at the same moment. The show must go on. You keep yourself in delusion that everything is going fine and try to smile and be confident.
You are dancing on the stage, trying to entertain hundreds of people despite what is happening inside you. You try to get inspiration from all other women who face these challenges day in and day out.
Recently I read an interesting quote from a man: I don’t trust any human being who bleeds for five to seven days at a stretch but still doesn’t die!
I laughed and laughed. Even though the man was insulting women, he was also pointing out how strong a woman is!
Because that is what a woman is.
She can bleed for five days every month but still doesn’t die.
Feels all the pain in the world very frequently but pretends everything is alright.
Puts up with so many negative things( Cramping, fatigue, moodiness, head and body aches, and potential for heavier bleeding as estrogen and progesterone levels drop significantly, causing the shedding of the uterine lining) all through her life but still can compete with men and win in several arenas!
Can any man match a woman’s real strength?
Who says a woman is weak?
