Krishna:

No. The enlightened person is insightful and open-minded. S/He is able to see the world with great clarity, without attachment to preconceived ideas about people, places, and things.

Enlightenment is a mind matter and can be cultivated. You get insights into people’s behaviour, culture, tradition religion etc. These are man-made things.

With open mindedness you embrace everybody and everything without any prejudices.

The person will be able to see things clearly. He might attain calmness of the mind.

That is not “everything about the universe”.

In order to learn more things about the universe, you will have to take the help of science. Just meditation (a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state) doesn’t teach everything about the universe.

I have seen people after meditating saying several things that they can control this and that and when I asked for proof, getting annoyed, angry and using abusive words to get away from these Qs! Is that what meditation and enlightenment teach you? They can’t even control or manage their own emotions! What will they learn about the universe?

On the other hand, I got several insights about things around through science. Find here how:

Q: After reading the above answer of mine....

I would recommend either looking into the history of science, especially around the time Newton did his work. Science is not going to come close to explaining everything about the universe. Science does not even try to fully understand things taking place, its aim is to simply provide theories that can be applied to it, that very different from trying to understand “everything about the universe".

Krishna: Science has two aspects to it.

One: The principles with which this universe came into existence (to atheists), or created (to theists) and run by it.

Two: The process with which we study this universe.

People usually take only the second one into consideration, not the first one while dealing with this aspect. But the truth is, without scientific principles, this universe in which we live, wouldn't have come into existence in the first place. Only when the scientific principles based universe came into existence, the consequences like galaxies, stars, planets, origin of life, its evolution, human beings and finally their religions became a reality.

So science is the basis for everything.

When the second aspect tallies with the first one, then a scientific fact gets established.

If we cannot match the second aspect with the first one, it is human inadequacy, not science’s fault. Get that right first.

Q: Why do Monstera leaves have holes?

Krishna: Monstera plants dwell in the shadows of rainforests in the Americas. Computer simulations by researchers revealed that missing pieces may help the plants capture light more dependably in unpredictable conditions. In the thick tropical forests, flecks of sunlight make it through the canopy intermittently and erratically. The holes allow leaves to spread out over greater areas without needing to expend energy and nutrients growing extra leaf area to fill this space. That, in turn, may improve the plant's chances of catching sunflecks.

These plants are very popular as ornamental plants because of these holes in the leaves

Q; How do Waterspouts form?
Krishna: Waterspouts can form when winds blowing in two different directions run into each other. Along the line where the two winds meet (called a "convergence line" or "shear line"), there is a lot of rotating air near the surface.

The collision of the two winds makes air move upwards because it has nowhere else to go. This rising air carries water vapor high into the sky where it creates rain showers, storms and cumulus clouds.

As the air rises, it can tilt some of the horizontal spinning air near the surface into the vertical direction. When this vertical spin concentrates at a particular point it starts sucking up water—and you have yourself a waterspout (1).

Because waterspouts form on the line where two winds meet, you sometimes see a line of waterspouts in a row where the spinning low-level air is sucked upwards at a few different points.

Q: What are the reasons for more vaccine side effects in some people?

Krishna: Vaccine Side effects vary from person to person.

It's important to remember that side effects are normal signs that your body is building protection.

These are some who face more side effects ....

  1. Young people: Because young people have a robust immune system
  2. Women: Female sex hormone estrogen can elevate immune responses, while male sex hormone testosterone can decrease it.
  3. People who have had COVID in the past

F0otnotes:
Q: Why does black celebrities are crying and complaining about lack of COVID-19 vaccines in Africa and begging the world to give it away to Africans for free? Why would anyone give billions of vaccine doses for free to Africa?
Krishna: Why would anyone give billions of vaccine doses for free to Africa?

The government of India, through the generosity of PM Narendra Modi has donated an initial instalment of 1,70,000 vaccines to Barbados and Dominica through bilateral arrangements (1). Similarly, in its intervention, Jamaica, on behalf of African, Caribbean and Pacific countries also thanked Indian efforts in delivering vaccine supplies to developing and least-developed countries.

If you have empathy, want to share something you have with the less fortunate, is it wrong? What type of question is this?

In the initial stages of vaccination programme, several people refused to take the vaccines. Vaccines were getting wasted. So India decided to donate them to other developing countries.

Several developed countries are hoarding vaccines by procuring surplus vaccines several times beyond their actual need.

This has led to the World Health Organization (WHO) warning that nations that hoard possible Covid-19 vaccines while excluding others would deepen the pandemic (2).

The major drawback of vaccine nationalism is that it puts countries with fewer resources and bargaining power at a disadvantage. Thus, if countries with a large number of cases lag in obtaining the vaccine, the disease will continue to disrupt global supply chains and, as a result, economies around the world.

According to a new report, published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), the US has secured 800 million doses of at least six vaccines in development, with an option to buy about one billion more. The UK has purchased 340 million shots: approximately five doses for each citizen. Although, on the surface, it may seem these countries have ordered more doses than they need, the truth is many of these orders were put in during trial phases of the vaccines when they did not know for sure which vaccines would be successful. Essentially, countries like the UK have put their eggs in several baskets. Such unilateral deals with wealthy countries will make the vaccines inaccessible to those in some of the poorest parts of the world. (3)

It seems Canada bought six times more vaccines than it actually needs!

What do rich countries do with the excess vaccines they bought? They will get wasted anyway. So what is wrong with donating some of them instead of wasting them?

Think about it!

Q: Do you think that there's more credible evidence for reincarnation than there is for religion itself?

Krishna: There is no credible genuine evidence at all for reincarnation. It just is a belief based on anecdotal stories.

Although religion is man-made several people follow it. It is ‘real’ for the people who pursue it with great devotion.

For a critical thinking person, both are irrelevant.

Q: Why can’t scientists yet say definitively whether or not a fully vaccinated person can transmit COVID-19?

Krishna: Evidence is increasing that, not only do COVID-19 vaccines either stop you getting sick or substantially reduce the severity of your symptoms, they’re also likely to substantially reduce the chance of transmitting the virus to others.

In April, Public Health England reported the results of a large study of COVID-19 transmission involving more than 365,000 households with a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated members.

It found immunisation with either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine reduced the chance of onward virus transmission by 40-60%. This means that if someone became infected after being vaccinated, they were only around half as likely to pass their infection on to others compared to infected people who weren’t vaccinated.

One study from Israel, which leads the world in coronavirus vaccinations, gives some clues about what’s behind this reduced transmission. Researchers identified nearly 5,000 cases of breakthrough infection in previously vaccinated people, and determined how much virus was present in their nose swabs. Compared to unvaccinated people, the amount of virus detected was significantly lower in those who got vaccinated.

More virus in the nose has been linked to greater infectiousness and increased risks of onward transmission.

These studies show vaccination is likely to substantially reduce virus transmission by reducing the pool of people who become infected, and reducing virus levels in the nose in people with breakthrough infections.

Q: When will the corona go away from Earth from an astrologer’s point of view?

Q: Is it true that if we strictly lock down the entire country and everyone follows guidelines for just 20 days, the corona virus will be gone?

Krishna: No astrologer can say that with accuracy. Ask a scientist instead.

Has any astrologer predicted that we would face such a situation? NO!

However, scientists have predicted that this would happen!*

Corona virus will never, I repeat, never ever go away from Earth.

Eradicating this virus right now from the world is a lot like trying to plan the construction of a stepping-stone pathway to the Moon. It’s unrealistic. Many scientists expect the virus that causes COVID-19 to become endemic, but it could pose less danger over time. A combination of annual vaccines and acquired immunity means that societies tolerate the seasonal deaths and illnesses they bring without requiring lockdowns, masks and social distancing.

It would be possible to eliminate SARS-CoV-2 from some regions while it continued to circulate in others. In a global village it takes little time to spread again in an eradicated region.

Available evidence suggests that the virus is predominantly transmitted between people through respiratory droplets and close contact, but there are also examples of transmission between humans and animals. Several animals that have been in contact with infected humans, such as minks, dogs, domestic cats, lions and tigers, have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

All available evidence for COVID-19 suggests that SARS-CoV-2 has a zoonotic source. So we cannot completely eradicate it.

Accept this reality!

Q: A fully vaccinated Delhi doctor succumbed to covid today. Are Indian vaccines not good?

Krishna: Some people don’t develop immunity or enough immunity despite taking the vaccines for various reasons.

A person usually develops good immunity two weeks after taking the second dose. If he gets infected before that period and if the viral load is high- that can happen in a hospital scenario- the person won’t be able to cope.

If the storage conditions are not good, if all conditions are not followed properly, the vaccines won’t be very effective.

If a different strain or mutated strain infects, the vaccine's efficacy won’t be full.

Indian Vaccines showed good results in clinical trials. There isn’t anything wrong with them.

Without deeply investigating things, we just can’t come to a conclusion based on mere speculations.

I don’t agree with others in this regard.

Q: Why aren't scientists able to explain the Jagadnath temple phenomenon? There is not one but many unusual things that happen there everyday.

Krishan:

The first Q that occurred to me was “ What phenomena?”.

Then I googled the Q and found out a few things.

Almost all major and even minor temples and Gods have stories woven around them to attract people. They are just beliefs, sometimes natural occurrings interpreted as miracles, and at times people themselves do create things to cheat others.

Scientists have many important things right now to do like tackling diseases like covid-19, producing enough food to feed billions of people, saving living beings from natural disasters and the like.

If they go after every imaginative silly and fictitious story, they will have to stop the important work Gods cannot come and do here.

A scientists’ knowledge is precious and cannot be wasted on silly stories and their work is too important to mismanage.

You handle your beliefs and let scientists do their work.
