Who works day and night without a care for their own well being?

Who can forget during this process about food, water and coldness that is chilling?

  Who gets curious about the things they see in the world?

  Who can think differently from everybody around?

Who can perceive everything in the universe as methodically uniform?

Who can go boldly where no man has ever gone before and perform?

  Who can have the courage to overcome all the obstacles?

  Who has the wherewithal to stem all the debacles?

Who can go about with unquenchable thirst for knowledge?

Who can take on with confidence the most difficult challenge?

  Who can work with only passion as their lighthouse?

  Who can observe the unseen with their eyes?

Who can do things not because they are easy and comfortable?

Who can adopt work because it is difficult and undoable? 

Have you ever wondered what drives this strange being?

Have you ever thought how the world can survive without their extraordinary thinking?

Have you ever imagined how a cave man lived without all the inventions? 

Have you ever contemplated what life would be like without the scientists' contributions?

Have you ever pictured how your ancestors died without medical interventions?

Have you ever realized how dreadful societies would be without  scientists' solutions ?         

     When the world despairs

     They try to repair

     When the world goes into depression and needs a friend

     They try to be the best guide you could ever find! 

When the world sleeps through the gloomy nights

Small candles lit by the ever toiling scientists

Are driving away the dreadful darkness

And taking the world towards progress.

(Based on my art work titled " Night life of Scientists")

“You don’t have a night life. It must be very boring working in a lab all alone in the night,” was what people used to say to me when I was doing research work in the night. When any explorer, adventurer, soldier or a scientist hear this, I am pretty sure, he or she will smile. Because, going to a place where no man has gone before, inventing or discovering new things which have not been thought or seen before, protecting your motherland,  doing things very few dare to do, and helping human kind are some of the most exciting & thrilling things on this planet. Only people who have sacrificed their comforts, luxuries, safety & pleasures & took a decision to risk their loves & lives and go it alone know the difference!
