Gestation
eing extremely interested in the evolution of the planet, humanity and thought patterns, this piece is a physical manifestion of the development of a thought. Sitting in gestation like a fetus, the thought is conceived, analyzed and then birthed, all while being protected by the body of the mother, represented here with the knitted sleeves. I chose the red color because of red's associations with blood, veins, and flesh.
