As Indians enjoy celebrating their traditions with greater fanfare, it makes it worth considering and significant. With diversity at its peak, India has many holidays including three national holidays. These are the days when employers are bound to give holiday to their employees. As India is known for celebrating numerous festivals, there is no scarcity of holidays that are region based. So, be it Kerala holidays or holidays in Rajasthan, South India or North India, India is one of the most enchanting countries in every respect. To be specific, three national holidays include Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day and Republic Day. October 2nd, 15th August, and 26th January are the dates respectively on which these festivals are arranged.

 

Apart from that, as we know that India is a country with celebrations abound, festivals such as Diwali, Dussehra,  Holi, Christmas and Pongal are celebrated with much chart and fun. In fact, all the children have the day off from school and that is what makes it the most enchanting entity ever. Travellers, who come in wake of Diwali, cannot forget it throughout their lives as it is a major Hindu festival and is popularly known as the "Festival of Lights." Apart from that, the festival of colours, Holi, Christmas along with other festivals make India one of the most enchanting entities in the global context.

 

Experiencing festivals in India is something, which is awesome in every respect. With more than dozens of other festivals and celebrations, it makes one's holidays in India more than significant and worthwhile.
