Beenkar Suvir plays Raga Shivmat Bhairav. Raga Shivmat Bhairav is a rare variant of Raga Bhairav where the Shivmat element is seen in the SWEEPING andolan of Komal Rishabh to komal gandhara and "andolan" of Komal Dhaivat to komal nishad.
In this Raga, Komal Gandhara and Komal Nishada do not have an independent existence of its own but come to existence in the "andolit" forms of komal rishabh and dhaivat.
