The Fable of the Agonist, the Antagonist, the Force and the Demon
We imagined the situation of the people with stroke, who cannot move their limbs properly because of overactivity in antagonistic muscles (spastic cocontraction) whenever they try to command their agonists. A religious community called Sainte Clothilde in Paris lent to us their space and we embarked onto representing muscles around joints, force generated and the action of botulinum toxin as best we could. I was lucky to be able to count on nice dancers, film directors and showmen. Hope you both understand and enjoy the film!
