Krishna: No they are not. However, no genuine scientist can refuse valid evidence. if you ignore it and try to put forth your own theories and cannot provide solid evidence, you will be rejected as a pseudo-science peddler or selfish denier.

Climate change skepticism or climate change denial refer to denial, dismissal or unwarranted doubt of the scientific consensus on the rate and extent of global warming, its significance, or its connection to human behaviour, in whole or in part.

Some scientists think industry has engaged a small band of skeptics to confuse public opinion in a persistent and well-funded campaign of denial. Some politically leaning scientists too might deny it for power and popularity.

Don’t ever use the word ‘believe’ when you are dealing with science and scientists. No scientist will ‘blindly believe’ in anything. If majority of the scientists agree that AGW is happening and real, they are convinced about the evidence provided by their colleagues.

However as evidence mounted, many denier scientists changed their minds. For instance,

Richard A. Muller, professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley, and the co-founder of the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project, funded by Charles Koch Charitable Foundation, has been a prominent critic of prevailing climate science. In 2011, he stated that "following an intensive research effort involving a dozen scientists, I concluded that global warming was real and that the prior estimates of the rate of warming were correct. I'm now going a step further: Humans are almost entirely the cause."

Michael Shermer, the publisher of Skeptic Magazine, reached a tipping point in 2006 as a result of his increasing familiarity with scientific evidence, and decided there was "overwhelming evidence for anthropogenic global warming." Journalist Gregg Easterbrook, an early skeptic of climate change who authored the influential book A Moment on the Earth, also changed his mind in 2006, and wrote an essay titled "Case Closed: The Debate About Global Warming is Over.

How can any genuine scientist deny overwhelming evidence unless s/he is associated with industry, politics or out of one's mind?

Q: Do you believe we can talk to ghosts via radio frequency?

Krishna : NO! There is no evidence for ghosts in the first place according to genuine science.

If you try to talk to imaginary things, you will be branded as a schizophrenic. Be careful with what you do and believe!

Q: How do bacteria mount an effective stress response?

Krishna: When bacteria undergo stress, they activate stress responses that include the expression of a new set of genes to help them prevent or reverse the damage caused by the stressful condition. With more extreme stress, some bacteria can even shrink in size or turn themselves into durable, long-lasting spores.

It has to be noted here that many antibiotics work by inhibiting bacterial gene expression, interfering with the RNA polymerase enzymes that read off the DNA to express the bacteria’s genes. These antibiotics are effective only if they are able to inhibit the RNA polymerase enzymes in all situations, whether or not the bacteria is stressed.
