Art Biennale in Colombo

Colombo, Sri Lanka, will host its first Art Biennale from September 10 to 14, 2009, Joining Dubai, Bangladesh, Singapore, New York, Sydney & Venice. Colombo's biennale aims at encouraging & showcasing contemporary art from Sri Lanka. It will be held at Park Street Mews.
The theme for this biennale is, IMAGINING PEACE. Artists will show their work by creating contemporary installation pieces, paintings & sculpture, depicting their personal interpretations of "Imagining Peace" that promises to be thoughtful & interactive.
