German researchers have uncovered a second, hidden face within one of ancient Egypt's most treasured artefacts, the bust of legendary beauty, Queen Nefertiti. The delicately sculpted face of the queen got a make over - the CT scan done on it indicates.
Compared to the outer face, the hidden limestone visage had less depth in the corners of eyelids, laugh lines around the corners of the mouth & cheeks, less prominently regal cheekbones & a tiny bump on the ridge of the nose.
So the Royal sculptor changed the real features of the queen some 3,300 years ago to make her look more beautiful. And modern science found out the truth & exposed it!
