SCI-ART LAB

Science, Art, Litt, Science based Art & Science Communication

Recently an artist payed tribute to scientists who are working in the most dangerous areas of science.  Yes, you heard it right.  It is an "artist" who payed the tributes! And she said: "What makes these astronauts, geologists (vulcanologists), nuclear scientists, microbiologists and other scientists who work in the most dangerous areas of science risk their lives?    Why are they so dedicated to their faculties? I salute their courage and dedication to serve human kind." Very touching.

Dedication is a multi-faceted word.  These scientists  know they are doing dangerous work. They knew there was a possibility they could lose their lives. But they know the work was important. They take the necessary risks to further our understanding of  the world around us.  Some of them  die doing what they loved. Yet, they do it. Because the call is so irresistible. Their curiosity knows no fear. Their thirst for knowledge is insurmountable! Their enthusiasm is unbeatable. Life or death - these people do what it takes to add to the knowledge base. They give their everything for making our future safe.

You don't find a parallel to science that can make people go to any extent in order to obtain knowledge in the right way? No, you don't!
