Art vs. Science

The two were discussing since the beginning of time,

Science always thought, he always won the game.

Well, he didn't win exactly.

Because their argument never reached the climax fully.

Whenever Science got the upper hand,

Art would stamp his foot, and walk out in a huff.

When time comes that the discussion is recommenced,

Science would again reiterate the point he has made, and Art would merrily ignore it

A sample argument;

ART: I paint, I give you beauty, look at the Mona Lisa for example.

SCIENCE: Notwithstanding the fact that the Mona Lisa was painted by a man who was, first and foremost, a scientist,

And, notwithstanding the fact that she's an ugly cow anyway,
It was a scientist who invented paints, so you couldn't have painted her in the first place, if it hadn't been for me.

ART: Shakespeare was a great artist: playwright extraordinaire, poet without peer...

SCIENCE: Yes, granted,
But how would he have written his plays and his sonnets without ink and paper; and who invented both? You?

ART: I've had enough of this! (Stomp).
And off he'd go, slamming the door behind him.

Noticing Art's tactics, Science had a plan.

He knows he is bigger and powerful than his adversary

He challenged Art on a duel, Which Art has accepted courageously.

At the count of three the bell rang and the battle began.

Science hacked Art with a razor sharp sword.

Shot Art with a machine gun, then a blast from a bazooka was heard.

Science fired missiles and let off an atomic bomb at Art,

To finish it all up, Science deleted Art on the database and permanently removed in the recycle bin.

It was an overkill.

The rage of Science, was the product of years and years of pent up anger.

It was too much,

Probably, all that Science needs is a one good punch.

Art has always been delicate.

Sometimes effeminate.

All Art had to fend off Science attacks was a paintbrush and a hard pencil.

But the onslaught of Science went on at his will.

Battle was over.

Science raised his hands in the air and proclaim himself a winner.

Celebration was short lived though,

Several days later, the whole world died of BOREDOME.
