A DIFFERENT VIEW on emotions

A DIFFERENT VIEW on emotions
Q: People share several videos on corporate honchos, celebrities  and other successful people sharing their views on happiness and advising people on how to be happy . But should we really follow them?
Krishna: Sorry for saying this but I have a different view on these advises people give on happiness.
Definition of happiness differs from person to person. Why should we stick to somebody else's way of thinking?
Perceptions like 'Your way of thinking is right or mine is right' on general issues have no meaning in the big picture.
If you try to follow others, that can make you uncomfortable and unhappy because that goes against your nature. Your Biology and your hormones dictate what makes you happy. Very few people can go against their Biology.
I will stick to my definition of happiness and that makes me happy.
Others' preachings don't bother me at all because they don't produce dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin in me! ( These are hormones that direct happiness)
When your Biology dictates what makes you happy most of the time, happiness is not a choice unless you put a tight leash on your other emotions! And putting a tight leash on emotions is not a good thing.
Experiencing an emotion just happens spontaneously. You feel sad when something saddens you. You feel happy when something or someone makes you happy. You can sometimes decide whether or not you get carried away with your emotions, but you can’t control whether you have them in the first place.  Later on , of course, you can direct them.  It’s about taking whatever you experience and feel and trying your best to make the most of the situation with your thought process and analysis.
All emotions have their roles and purposes. A life form has to endure all emotions, not just happiness. Nature gave you all these emotions for a reason and survival and you have to accept them with courage.
For instance,
Tears have their Purpose too: they can help relieve pain and stress.
Calming, mood-enhancing, and pain-relieving effects of crying above may help a person fall asleep more easily.

When humans cry in response to stress, their tears contain a number of stress hormones and other chemicals.

Researchers say that crying could reduce the levels of these chemicals in the body, which could, in turn, reduce stress.

Science suggests that not crying when you have stress and pain could mean missing out on a range of benefits.
Some sort of low level of stress is good too.
Low to moderate levels of stress can be beneficial in some ways:   Mental performance: Low to moderate stress can improve working memory and mental performance.
Brain chemicals: Low-level stressors stimulate the production of neurotrophins, which strengthen the connections between neurons in the brain.
Resilience: Low to moderate stress can help people build resilience.
Coping with stress: Low to moderate stress can help people learn how to cope with future stressful situations.
Focus: A little stress can help people focus on something that needs their attention.
Alertness: Stress can make people more alert.
But one has to control these stress levels to have these benefits. High stress levels for prolonged time is not good.
I want to endure all emotions like a living being should, not just happiness.
I think differently from others because as a person of science I have the whole picture of Biology before my eyes. Not a partial one like these corporate honchos who put tons of advice in their pockets  and distribute it freely to everyone.
Partial pictures don't appeal to me at all.
Don't like this view? Doesn't matter. I respect your right to have your own definition of life and happiness in it. If that makes you happy, I will be happy for you.
