Q: Do enlightened beings get bored as they have already reached the ultimate and there is nothing left to be achieved?
Krishna : No!
Eventhough enlightened people ‘reached the ultimate’, there still is a majority of human population that lives in misery. Uplifting all those people is still the highest priority to actually ‘reach the ultimate’.
The job is only half done and you are only a half baked cake if you think about only yourself and not others. That is not ‘reaching the ultimate’!
Only if you can see yourself in everybody else and everybody else in yourself, you reached the ultimate. When the other half of yourself didn’t see what you have seen that is not ‘reaching the ultimate’!
No, enlightened people never get bored because they still have a mission to accomplish and still are working hard to ‘reach the ultimate’, the real one, not a pseudo-one!

Q: I want to give you a gift. What would be your choice?

Krishna: Respect.

I can buy almost everything needed by me. I don't need any gifts from anybody. The best gift any man can give a woman these days is high quality respect that you can give to another human being. Treat all the women you come across like the goddess your worship. That creates harmony in the world because no woman can ignore a man who holds her in high esteem.

Q: How much science does astrology and numerology hold?

Why Astrology is Pseudo-science

Q: What should one do if one has been constantly facing rough times? Is it bad luck or just a bad phase?

Krishna: When I face what you are facing I would think in this way…

It is not bad luck…that is responsible for this crisis in my life…it is because …

I didn’t understand the circumstances properly, didn’t analyse the problems thoroughly to correct it in the right way to get rid of them.

Failures might occur in life. When they do, you should revisit your problem, analyse it thoroughly in an enlightened way and think you haven't found a proper solution to it yet and that's why you couldn't overcome it, then try to get one, increase your efficiency of the effort, plug the loopholes and go after it with all your might to defeat it.

This is a realistic way of doing things… not a positive or negative ways…

This perception helped me a lot. I am sure it would help you too.

Q: What bothers the human mind the most?

Krishna: It is the facts we came to know through science which proved all those stories woven ages back to explain things around us wrong! Most human minds still don't have the courage to accept scientific facts and prefer to live in ancient times!

Q: What can be known from the study of my horoscope? How much should I believe in astrology?

Krishna: How much should I believe in astrology?

If you ask me that Q, ‘you shouldn’t believe in astrology at all’ would be my answer.

Now when I say that I should also defend my ‘advice’. Okay here it is:

Why Astrology is a Fool’s paradise

Q: What are the do's and don'ts on Amavasya day?

Why do people always point out the fact that I am always by myself? Why don't I feel like constantly surrounding myself with people in order to be happy/complete?
Krishna : Who says you have to be surrounded by people in order to be happy and complete?

I can be quite happy without anybody surrounding me. And I am a complete -and-half person even if I am alone.

Most introverts are like that. We need not dance to the tunes of others who try to set standards and impose them on us.
We are what we are. Be happy and comfortable with that.
Q:How do you counter the argument "scientists can not talk about astrology because they have not studied and practiced it"?

http://www.csicop.org/si/show/an_indian_test_of_indian_astrology#fo...

Debate between scientists and people who practice pseudo-science - ...

Several astrologers say astrology is scientific. If it really is like they brag about it, it is only scientists who can decide about it, not astrologers.

Moreover, you need not practice it to know whether it works or not. Several people have studied whether it works or not. Many scientific studies have been made, and they all show that astrology is no more accurate than chance would have it in making predictions.

This argument is like the argument - no body can practice religion or talk about God or pray to him because they didn’t study theology. How silly that sounds!

Q: Is it safe to use blood for magic spells?

First, there are no real magic spells, according to science.

Second, wasting precious blood on silly and useless things is not advisable.

Third, some witches and people who deal with black magic kill innocent people or animals in the name of sacrifice to ‘appease Gods and Goddesses’ and gain what they call ‘superpowers’. This has been reported in the media several times.

Q: How accurate is astrology?

Krishna: It isn’t accurate at all, no matter who made the predictions. Read here why:

Q: How can I confirm the existence of ghosts in my surroundings?

Krishna: Confirm? You cannot! Because there is no evidence of ghosts in the first place, according to science. Science has tried its best but couldn’t do that till now.

However, people can imagine or hallucinate under certain conditions. That has been confirmed. When you can imagine something, you can confirm it as well in your imagination by creating interesting stories, which are far away from facts.

Read here how that happens: Science and the paranormal

Q: Why so many people still believe in astrology?

Krishna: There are several reasons for this.

1. Lack of CRITICAL THINKING skills.

2. Lack of confidence in themselves and fear of the future and the unknown.

3. Falling prey to sweet talk and exploitation of people afterwards.

4. A psychological effect called The Barnum effect, also called the Forer effect, which is a common psychological phenomenon whereby individuals give high accuracy ratings to descriptions of their personality that supposedly are tailored specifically to them but that are, in fact, vague and general enough to apply to a wide range of people.

Why Astrology is Pseudo-science

5. Cultural and traditional conditioning of minds.

Q: Has anybody fought and won against the paranormal?

Krishna: There is no evidence of paranormal things, according to science. Therefore, if you want to fight against them, you will have to fight with your own imaginations, hallucinations, creative stories, fears, mental conditions and irrational beliefs.

Science tried its best to find evidence of these things. But couldn’t find any till now. All that people say if you ask such Qs, therefore, will also be based on imaginations and hallucinations and not on real facts.

Science and the paranormal

Krishna: It is like a serious mental condition. Go see the genuine medical doctor immediately to get cured.

There is no evidence of ghosts. If you think you are possessed by a ghost, something is wrong with your thinking.

Q: Something is wrong with Indian parents. For any abnormal behaviour of child if parents asks just 'But Why?' in a friendly voice, the things would be great. But no Indian parents are just like corporate MDs they just want everything in their favour… don't you agree?

Krishna: No Indian parents? Don’t generalize like that. My own parents were very friendly, gave me complete freedom, never imposed their will on me, despite my rebellious nature and going against the tide, they fully supported me, encouraged me and stood by me all my life.

That is why they are Gods to me. If you have different type to mine, some blame lies with you also. Have self analysis before ‘blaming all Indian parents’. Are all Indian children good ones? Good Relationships depend on both parties. If you are blaming only one party, something must be wrong in your thinking.

Q: Yesterday, I attended a lecture given by a scientist. He is considered as a very good researcher. But he didn't speak well at all. How can a person who can't give a lecture properly be considered as a good scientist?

Krishna: “The voice is substantially taking over more and more of how we are perceived.”

Most of the scientists are good at thinking. They are not good at talking. It takes time for them to put their thoughts into good language. They can't juggle their words well like good writers and speakers do.

Moreover, introverts cannot speak properly in front of large a audience. The extra stimulation makes their brains go haywire.

Just because a person is good at speaking he need not be intelligent. He can be good at acting. He can be an extrovert. He can be a good writer and poet.

Don't judge a person's intelligence just by his speeches. See his work too.

Q:Even though the entire world is transparent on business techniques, why is it not possible for academic brilliance to overtake smartness? Can it not be learnt?

Krishna: My scientific thinking says …
This universe is a system of random events. The baby who is suffering, or the one who is feeling pleasure are just masses of chemicals and some energy and the resultant consciousness - because they are living - present at the random chance events and is not chosen for a reason.
The universe doesn't care who is suffering and who is not. Pure random chance is what governs the universe and within that vast system, you and I can more-or-less freely choose to do this or to do that, but the universe does not share our goals or our values - nor does it care about our suffering or our bliss. It doesn't even care which mass of atoms or energy is suffering or which one is not!
So, in such a system there might be ‘winners’ and ‘losers’ according to human minds but as far as the universe is concerned, there are only participants - no winners and no losers - just parts of the universe doing what they have always done - living, dying or just existing as inanimate things.
If you have diseases that make you suffer, you can avoid them by using vaccines or treat them using medicines, by making use of scientific knowledge. If you refuse to use it, and call it your fate to suffer, it is your foolishness.
It is our minds that make up things. Even infant minds who have no control over events ( because they have brains, neurons and feelings or emotions ) or the adults who can control whether they want to suffer or not, the latter by understanding and dealing with things appropriately.
If a system is making you uncomfortable you have the choice of rejecting it! The universe gave you that option. The adult brain or mind has a choice - you can suffer if you cannot control your thoughts that lead to suffering or you can remain detached and feel the bliss. You can come out of it with your courage and smartness. The choice is yours!
But some people don't use that selection process because they are cowards. I have seen people spending lots of money on marriages by taking credits and getting into more misery because they 're afraid of their societies' judgements. If anybody can break the society's unwritten rules, they can avoid this misery. If he or she can overcome his or her fear of judgement, then s/he has taken the act of writing his/her destiny into his/her own hands and can lead into a world of the person's choice. Refuse to suffer. The universe gave you that choice.
Don't blame your 'karma' for the inadequacies of your mind.

Q: Have you at any time experienced paranormal activity?

Krishna: No, because I go and investigate things like a scientist should do and found all of the things people imagine or hallucinate are quite natural phenomenon that can be explained by science.

If you don’t try to find answers to the Qs why, how, etc., you just interpret things in strange ways and believe everything, you hear and see.

Science and the paranormal

Q: Can a person be completely neutral?

Krishna: I try to be neutral, always. As I am proud of my critical thinking abilities, I think I am neutral, well most of the time. :)

Recently one person told me , " Ma'am, you are talking like both the persons whose psychology we 're discussing. If you are neutral, you shouldn't talk like anyone, you should keep a distance from both".

"What?!", I asked him, "I can view things from both points of view and analyse the situation from each person's point of view. That doesn't mean I accept their views, or anyone's. I only accept things if my critical thinking says this is the right one because of these undeniable and indisputable reasons and evidence". Being able to see the problem from all angles, not one, is the right way to deal with a problem and providing neutral analysis. After neutral analysis, when I accept one thing because that is  what I think is right, which might make others think I am biased but in reality, I am not!

I refuse to join any groups, parties, accept any ideology just because I want to be always  neutral. I try my best to control my emotions too. I came out of conditioning of my mind too.

Yes, It is possible for me to be neutral because I am a critical thinker. Yes, when one is a critical thinker, it is possible to be completely neutral.

But still if there are any hidden biases that are still influencing me, I try my best to control them.  I think 99% neutrality is better than 50% neutrality any day. And I am 99% neutral. Test me if you want!

Critical Thinking

Q:I’m an atheist. I came out as one yesterday, and on that day my cousin died who I never got to know that well. Is this a sign from God or am I just paranoid?

What type of atheism is this?

And why did God ‘punish’ your cousin who is a theist, instead of you, who is an atheist?

And why didn’t God punish all atheists on the day they became atheists? Why did he chose only you?

Can theists survive death? Can atheists overcome death? None can avoid death. Theism and atheism have nothing to do with death.

Think thoroughly before becoming atheist again to overcome such inadequacies!

Q: Are Indian people becoming superstitious because of rising Hindutva?

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.c...

Somebody asked me the Q, ‘Why are politicians courting Godmen, Instead of scientists and techies?’

I told the person who asked me this Q to go and put the Q to MP CM.

Politics bring uncertainties. When you lose control of a situation, you become fearful. And fear and confusion make you search for all sorts of emotional support. Your thinking gets screwed.

That is where superstitions come into picture. Where you lack Critical Thinking and Scientific Thinking skills, superstitions, take root.

You will find Superstitions in Christian societies, Muslim societies and Hindu societies. Why blame only one religion or ideology for the irrational beliefs?

Read these articles that give a clear picture about superstitions:

Science's rules are unyielding, they will not be bent in any way fo...

Superstitions don't have any science behind them!

Q; Is my horoscope reading something I can act on, or must I just accept my fate?

Krishna: Act on it, without fail. You will regret it if you don’t. Why am I so sure? Because astrology is fake and nobody can predict things just like that. Read here why, you yourself will get convinced ….

Why Astrology is a Fool’s paradise

Q: What is the explanation of Rahu and Ketu in science?

It is based on mythology and vedic astrology, and has an explanation that Rahu and Ketu denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they move on the celestial sphere. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the north and the south lunar nodes. Eclipses occur when the Sun and the Moon are at one of these points .

Q based on the above one: But vethathriyam ( vethathri maharishi) explain this scientifically..

Why Astrology is Pseudo-science

Q: Vedic astrology says vakri planets are strong, western astrology says retrograde planets are weak. Which thought is more accurate?

Why Astrology is Pseudo-science

When something is imaginative, you can imagine anything and can give interpretations in anyway you want. But they don’t become facts. Believe if you want in Astrology, but don’t ask for authenticity of it. You won’t get it, ever.

Q: Some infants are born into misery and some into happiness. They have no role in choosing their fate or future. How does science deal with this state of human beings without evoking 'karma'?
