Q: Why is it when I press my fingertip hardly it turns yellow for that moment and then return back to the original colour?

If it is turning yellow, that means you have jaundice. Jaundice is a condition in which the skin, whites of the eyes and mucous membranes turn yellow because of a high level of bilirubin, a yellow-orange bile pigment.

Yellow discoloration of the skin may be associated with carotenemia, hypothyroidism, liver disease, and renal disease.

Why does your skin turn yellow when you squeeze or after sometime the bruises occur?

This is because the final hemoglobin breakdown product is bilirubin, which is yellow. The yellow slowly fades away, leaving your skin healed and normal, as your body clears the last of these chemicals from your blood.
