Krishan: Nature itself is science dependent. You cannot separate science from nature. Everything in Nature is based on scientific principles and run by them.

So even if an invention is not directly inspired by nature, it will definitely be inspired by the scientific principles behind the Nature. And even these scientific principles are behind every invention whether you study them or not, understand them or not. It doesn’t matter whether these inventions are trial and error based too. They are science dependent. Period!

Science is 1. the systemic study of the natural world and 2. natural world is based on scientific principles

So ‘not inspired by nature directly’ is okay but ‘not inspired by nature indirectly’, doesn’t make sense to me.

Moreover, both inventor and invention are part of nature.

Even a brain that invents is part of Nature! So the inspiration itself comes from Nature.

Inspire means - stimulate, motivate, cause, incline, persuade, encourage, influence, rouse, move, stir, goad, energise, galvanize, incite, impel - any of these can be behind inventions.

Inventions not inspired by nature?! Directly or indirectly?! Cannot happen!
