Who would be interested in My Great Book?

Krishna: Mostly other researchers in your field or related ones.

When some researchers inquired where they could get a copy of my thesis, I realized this.

Several groups will be interested in your PhD thesis topics.

Academics like professors, peer reviewers, thesis supervisors and also research scientists in the field will find them interesting. I myself read some of the theses available in my field.

Most of the content in the thesis would have already been published as research papers even before we write the thesis.

But still some researchers in their early stages of PhD read theses to understand how to go about their work and others to find gaps in the knowledge to bridge them.

Companies and Start-ups and policy makers read them to know if your topic can solve real-world problems or turn into new products.

The persons who want to employ you might read them sometimes to figure out how your mind works.

And funding agencies who might be interested in knowing several things about your work might go through them too to fund your future projects.

Not many people. But still the thought that at least there are some individuals in this world who would be interested in your “great book” is a nice feeling.
