Krishna: All of the scientific theories? Not possible, although they all invite falsification.

If you base medicine on science, you cure people. If you base the design of planes on science, they fly. If you base the design of rockets on science, they reach the outer space. It works... scientific theories based inventions work!

Theory of relativity has lots of evidence you just cannot deny.

General relativity has also been confirmed many times, the classic experiments being the perihelion precession of Mercury's orbit, the deflection of light by the Sun, and the gravitational redshift of light. Other tests confirmed the equivalence principle and frame dragging (2).

Cell theory? You can see cells sometimes with your own eyes and sometimes with the help of some instruments.

Plate tectonics. We have lots of evidence. Evidence from fossils, glaciers, and complementary coastlines helps reveal how the plates once fit together. Fossils tell us when and where plants and animals once existed. Some life "rode" on diverging plates, became isolated, and evolved into new species(1).

Here is the evidence

The theory of evolution : lots of evidence (3, 4)

There is lots and lots of evidence to show that almost all “established theories” of science are correct. Of course there can be some more corrections and improvements as time goes by but they would be just refinements, that is all.

The very evidence that our universe is working very well based on scientific principles is itself self explanatory.

Perception of reality based on our minds?

Each individual has his or her own perception of reality. The implication is that because each of us perceives the world through our own eyes, reality itself changes from person to person. While it's true that everyone perceives reality differently, reality could care less about our perceptions. But reality does not change to adapt to our viewpoints; reality is what it is. It is based on evidence based facts.

If your mind tells you there is a ‘God’ in the stone in front of you, some other person’s mind tells him it is just a stone. A scientist’s mind sees it as some matter made of atoms.

That is because you (or your mind) are thinking differently from others.

That doesn’t alter the reality that it is some matter made of atoms. Because it is not just thinking, it is evidence based fact.

Everybody has the right to have his or her opinions or perceptions but not to facts.

There will be only one fact given that the conditions it is based on are the same.

Reality, however, is not always a known, which is where perception of reality comes in. While reality is a fixed factor in the equation of life and universe, perception of reality is a variable. Perception is not reality. The lens through which we perceive is often warped in the first place by our genetic predispositions, past experiences, prior knowledge, emotions, preconceived notions, self-interest, and cognitive distortions.

So you can live in your own illusionary mad world, like several others do, but scientists can’t do that because their world’s are mostly based on evidence-based facts that can’t always go wrong. Only thing is - that world can be improved as time goes by with some solid evidence and facts. It cannot be completely proved wrong in our universe.

Your entire thinking is based on disillusion.
