Hey gang, ok, Let's start an experiment, just to see what differences there are between people, and how we see things. I give you this picture, with 4 different areas, 4 shapes, 2 different background colors. It is up to you how you choose to work with it, BUT, the only requirement is that you make a FACE from each of the four shapes. Then, of course, share the results! I will share mine as we progress so you can get the idea of what is expected, you may choose to print this and draw on it, or paint it, whatever! I will use my computer, I like to work fast, and the computer art program I have allows that.

This is the first of the squares, I will call it 1a, all I do is thicken or thin the lines to make a rough sketch or formulation of an idea of what it might turn out to be, there is no real "eureka" moment here, this is just a process. Then I add more lines!

BOOOOO!
Now, to add color, I just block in the areas with color, This will probably look like a watercolour when I am done, that is the feeling I get from it, so I go with that, I start blending the shapes, and shadows, and will add highlights later. And maybe a background, depends on what this turns out to be! "maybe a squirrel lives here"

I start to blend the colors into the lines to get an idea of the outcome for the shapes, molding the medium into various areas, and blending it with others, sometimes, I obliverate the lines, and sometimes not.

So, there ya have it, now it is time for you to start your own, I will show my results when I am done, take yer time, this could last a while, I would like to see as many as possible get in on this. Enjoy! Jeff

This image above uiploaded too small. I still put it into editing but the pixelation made it very difficult to draw in any usable shapes. Still I included this bacm, done with my mouse clicks and over the pixels showing already.
Other than just an activity for a few moments,I dont see this as very interesting but at least you were being creative in bringing up both a topic and activity for people to consider and reply to. So that is worth more than any image we can try to make on our computers from what you posted. Your image does make a point though and shows that we can do alot with our computers if we put our minds to it.
Have a great week~! :) Ave

Okay, lotsa questions, hope I can get this all. 1. To copy the initial picture, (the one with the 4 squares) just right-click with your mouse and choose SAVE PICTURE AS...then choose a place you will find it again, now, it is up to you whether or not to PRINT this, and use as a template, or open your paint program, MS PAINT supports only bmp I guess, so this one is in bmp form.
