Krishna: That depends on which aspect of ‘science’ you are dealing with.

Science has two aspects to it.

One: The principles with which this universe came into existence (to atheists), or created (to theists) and run by it.

Two: The process with which we study this universe.

People usually take only the second one into consideration, not the first one while dealing with science. But the truth is, without scientific principles, this universe in which we live, wouldn't have come into existence in the first place. Only when the scientific principles based universe came into existence, the consequences like galaxies, stars, planets, origin of life, its evolution, human beings and finally their religions and other things became a reality.

So science is the basis for everything.

Yes, when you take the first one into consideration, the principles are certain facts and that is why this universe is working so wonderfully.

Now if you take the second one into consideration i.e., the process with which we study this universe, because of human mind inadequacies, we cannot say anything is 100% certain.

Only if what we found tallies entirely with the universal principles, the facts get established. And anything based on it works like wonder.

But still, this can be provisional and somebody can improve on it. So the second aspect is always a work in progress.
