Bioptical Art - Cabinet for visual psychotherapy

Composition of  Bioptical Art no different, at first sight,

 of the conventional compositions. Significant effects occur in

contemplation, with the device with mirrors.

But artistic value and effectiveness in communication depends on the talent and traditional training of the artist.

 I repeat these effects:

Psychophysical mixture of colors, retinal cooperation, antispace in art, spatial harmony, bispace in art, psychic cycle, dynamics of space depth, spatial disharmony, hyperrealistic effects, hiatus in art, visual gradient, hyperspace in art, field binocular rivalry.

3. Bioptical effects, definitions

Some of these have not been experienced by humans yet.

The man is confronted for the first time with some of these effects.
Some people who have look normal, not aware than some of the effects.

In some cases it takes training to acquire skills of awareness.

Traditional fine art is an important part (huge) of universal culture.

Bioptical art is a field in the experiment  in which

largely use traditional techniques, introducing in addition

  some techniques for applying the   stimuli belonging, areas:

Binocular rivalry, Colour fusion Helmholtz and Stereoscopy.

 I have taken into account possible developments in contiguous areas and some practical applications.

On one hand, Bioptical Art will bring developments in research of psychology, neurology and psychiatry, and, on the other hand, it will give possibilities to the field of aesthetics to supplement chapters such as: disinterested interest, art as sensorial experience, art dependent knowledge and others.

Relative to the applications I obtained a patent in Romania.

Figure 5.1 show the hall for psychotherapy.  Shows a section of the hall.

1 – Circular wall of the rotonde; 2 – Cupboard; 3 – Set of bioptical paintings; 4 – Bioptical painting (every painting of the set may be electro-mechanically driven to window A); 5 – Bioptical sculpture; 6 – Frame of a bioptical painting;  (The observer, seated in armchair 7 looks through the bioptical device 8 towards B and sees how the forms and colours of the sculpture and painting are floating in space. Some forms are viewed beyond the wall  (see the description of figure 4.8); 9 – Monitor (connected to a computer where kinetic forms and colours of a bioptical type are programmed, as described in Patent RO  112061 [13]). The patient may interfere, to modify lines and colours; 10 – Frame for photographic reproductions of the Joey Fischer-type; 11 – niches (with installations for long electrical discharges with thunder – of the lightning type – as well as for corona-type discharges); 12 – revolving platform  (where several sculptures 5 and reproductions 10 may revolve in angles up to 360⁰); C – indirect adjustable lighting, correlated to a spotlight B,with coloured filtres, for lighting up  painting 4, which is being seen in window A; 14 – set of devices for objective measurements largely performed by telemetry.

To the above, one may associate appropriate music, whenever  necessary.

Can see that in Cabinet   are needed many bioptical compositions to be employed artists.
