Scientists never say stupid things with regard to science, well most of the time!

Q: I came across several articles and  videos on the net which say "scientists said this", "scientists found this" which I find strange. Do scientists really say such silly things?

Krishna: I am glad you asked me this Q. Know what I too came across such things on the net. 

People try to authenticate their silly,  stupid and irrational beliefs and opinions, using the names "scientist" and "science". This is nothing but maligning scientists and science because scientists never say such irrational things, well most of the time.

Recently I came across a video on You Tube where a lady was describing about the benefits of putting money plants in their living rooms.

That was okay but she said, " Scientists found that money plants contain positive energy and when you put them in your house your house will be filled with positive energy!"

What is this positive energy?

And it seems scientists found that money plant improves 'sleep quality' when put in your bed rooms! It seems it decreases sleeplessness and cures insomnia!

Hmmm! 

When put inside offices,  she said, scientists proved that, it improves work focus and increases productivity!

It seems scientists found money plant  brings luck and prosperity.

It seems the hidden secret behind this plant that scientists found 's that this plant attracts positive energy all the time!

When I asked this lady who made this video who are the scientists who found this and what evidence does she have to say all these things, she told me to go and search it on Google!

So this is some google (mis) information and the lady used the words 'science and scientists' to authenticate her views, opinions and irrational beliefs.
