To The Mist That Refreshes Me All Days, My Love Always, Namaste, Miguel

We need a little more compassion, and if we cannot have it then no politician or even a magician can save the planet.

Change is Inevitable

As Buddhists, we work to accept the impermanence and inevitable decay of the physical body. But it’s not enough to accept it as a fact; we can believe in this and still not want it in plain sight. Nagarjuna said, “Change makes all things possible.” It is… Continue

AN ODE TO PICASSO

A new dawn breaks with pablo's ire,

To awaken a canvas with strokes of fire.

A myriad hues from reds to blues,

Finds it hard for even the discerning eye to choose.

What was it that made him great?

Even though his lines weren't straight!

The rest of the pack he left far behind,

Proving to the world the 20th centurys' greatest find.

His journey of course he left incomplete,

With many a work so subtly discreet.

Although we know that its hard to… Continue

COMMITMENT!

Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans:

That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen… Continue

A Little Dharma for the Weekend, bless you all dear Friends. Namaste, Miguel

Cloudspotting

Although cloudspotting is an activity best undertaken with time on your hands, it is something that everyone can enjoy. Clouds are the most egalitarian of nature's displays, since each one of us has a good view of them, so it really doesn't matter where you are. A little elevation never goes amiss, of course, but this could as easily be provided by a high-rise as by a mountain range of outstanding natural beauty. More important is the frame of mind you are in while… Continue

The Greatest Adventure

When every day you live becomes your greatest adventure life is an experience you are anxious to greet. While the concept is simple, the task can be overwhelming to accomplish. Maintaining hope and optimism from one day to the next can be a daunting chore in itself. It is always easier to have faith in an ideal than it is to live up to one. Daily events and the chaos of life can make it a challenge to consistently stay unwavering and on track in a person’s endeavors or… Continue

The demons of paedophilias - Poem by Elisabetta Errani Emaldi

The demons of paedophilias

Paedophiles are voracious Lucifer who rob

the lives of the children of the world

without realizing that they slide in

the stench of their mental latrine.

Paedophiles are snakes that

crawl slowly towards the pure heart

of the innocent child.

The men, sons of the

Satanists of the paedophilias have abandoned

any dignity and are…

Work in Progress

I went to Jane Lee solo exhibit at www.osagegallery.com

I really like her works , the noodle-like ones and the ones that mimic cloth material , including folds. Something that I would like to do but somehow house paint does is not able to retain its shape.

Recently , I have been exploring gel mediums , modeling paste , plaster strips. The latex I ordered should be coming in next month.

I am using pallette knife this time ,… Continue

The sense of belonging -A personal view

The sense of belonging

A personal view

In India I have very often been asked: how did you get interested in Tukaram? A question that is asked by common people, journalists, press reporters, critics and enthusiasts who know the background. They were simply puzzled by my passion.

My journey led me from Umbraj to Bombay, and then to The Hague in Holland. I was a 17-year-old teenager from Umbraj, who had spent nine years as a Mumbaikar and twenty-five years as a… Continue

A Black Substance / Substancia Nigro

In recent project Palkhisohala, I have been drawing, taking photographs, absorb minds of people, meeting to strangers too and documenting incidents in visual forms. show your hope

While talking of hope and its directions of horizon with participant artists make me think very much bolder and wider then ever. Either side of hope between person and legal authoritarian transformed transparent fields into fugitive. Artists make them again insider of fugitive caves that shows other side brighter light beams try to break through. Contemporary subject are out of many subjects asks more attention. Because war seem always been contemporary subject to any generation. More ever, one… Continue

Give and Take in Art

Artists Residency

Give and Take in art between Holland and India started in 1997. My thoughts rolled over the process of learning and practising as an artist and poet in a foreign country. Being a painter, sculptor, printmaker and poet was diverse enough to roll out my thoughts to organise artistic activities between thw East and the West.

Basically I am the last corner of the square where I could meet and reflect myself. I complete the square me too. 23 years ago, after… Continue

A Sense of My Homeland

Dear Friend,

Ever the joy of shared dreams, perchance kindling,

long lost memories of times past, the joy of awakening,

together this infinite inner Divine repository.....

perhaps you may walk with us awhile.......

Ever the soulful fragrance of the tangle o' the

Isles haunts our dreams and fills us with delight

whispering to our hearts and souls of a life lived

full with nature in all her grandeur fair of times

past when such bonds of… Continue

Love Abounds from Miguel

Practice is what we are

Our lives, like the ocean, constantly change, and we will naturally face great storms and dreary lulls. How, then, to put our minds in a space where practice is always there, whether tumultuous or in the doldrums? It requires a completely radical view of practice: practice is not something we do; it is something we are. We are not separate from our practice, and so no matter what, our practice is present. An ocean swimmer is loose and flows with the current… Continue

Who We Are

Close your eyes and try to see with your heart.

Close your ears and hear only with your heart.

Don't close your mind but don't let your mind control You

Think with your heart as your heart is not illusive

Your heart can see what your eyes fail

Your heart can hear when the words and voices confuse me

Your heart has always the answer when your mind has black outs

Embrace your heart for it is the key to love.

Remember all love for love is the key to our… Continue

"ÎN VLAŞCA MEA" 2 poeme de George PENA

În Vlaşca…

În Vlaşca mea sunt fete multe

cu ochi frumoşi, cu buze dulci,

nu poţi noapea să te culci,

sunt tinerele, dar şi adulte-

în Vlaşca mea sunt fete multe.

Cu ochi frumoşi, cu buze dulci,

mergi cu drag în zori pe glie,

cu sufletul plin de poezie;

de le superi, poţi s-o-ncurci

cu ochi frumoşi, cu buze dulci.

Mergi cu drag în zori pe glie,

ştiu de glumă, tandreţe aleasă,

pe una mi-am făcut-o mireasă

şi… Continue

Suntem datori... poem de George Pena

SUNTEM DATORI...

Suntem datori
să fim mai buni,
mai buni,
şi-un suflet pur;

sfidând prostia
şi minciuni,
suntem datori
să fim mai buni.

Abia mai ştiu
copiii de bătrâni,
timpul
a devenit mai dur;

suntem datori
să fim tribuni
şi-ai vieţii fauri,
fără cusur.
